Privacy Policy

Effective August 1, 2026

Snipper is designed to capture and edit screenshots with minimal data collection. This policy explains what information the Snipper applications and website handle.

Screenshot data

Screenshots and annotations are processed on your device. Snipper saves captures only to locations you select or to system services you explicitly enable. We do not upload screenshots to advertising networks and do not sell their contents.

Accounts and personal data

The core Snipper application does not require an account. We do not sell personal information. If optional cloud synchronization is enabled, files are stored through your own platform cloud account and are subject to that provider's terms.

Permissions

Snipper requests screen-recording permission only to capture content visible on your display. File access is used to save captures where you choose. Permissions can be changed at any time in your device settings.

Website data

This website does not use advertising trackers. Hosting providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and reliable delivery.

Data retention and deletion

You control saved screenshots and can delete them from your device or chosen cloud storage. Removing an item from Snipper history does not automatically delete the saved file unless you explicitly choose that option.

Children

Snipper is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
